{"id":696,"date":"2014-12-30T09:48:33","date_gmt":"2014-12-30T16:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mkreative.org\/babe\/?p=696"},"modified":"2015-01-01T13:41:12","modified_gmt":"2015-01-01T20:41:12","slug":"gifts-made-gifts-loved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mkreative.org\/babe\/gifts-made-gifts-loved\/","title":{"rendered":"Gifts made, Gifts loved!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ah, this Holiday Season has been filled with so many gifts lovingly made!<\/p>\n<p>Potholders (square &amp; chicken), baby quilts, Elsa capes, Baby Monkey clothes and one DIY project for my nephew&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with <a title=\"CurvePerfect UFO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mkreative.org\/babe\/quilty-ufos\/\" target=\"_blank\">one of my few UFO\u2019s<\/a> from 2012.<\/p>\n<p>I just didn\u2019t know what to do with these fabulous squares. They didn\u2019t speak to me as a quilt, or even as pillows, so I shelved them. Last year, I had a brilliant idea to make them into potholders but ran out of time. This year, determination for gifting them even spurred me to try machine quilting again.
